Done & done.

I should probably read my comments before going ahead and putting things on my walls.

I put the UL expression in the dining room on the original wall. Just a little lower so I could hang pictures of my cute little family up there. I have six frames that I’ve had for almost two years now that have Big Sister’s six month portraits in that I was going to hang two years ago… but because I’m a slacker (and cannot for the life of me hang a straight picture) they are still sitting in the bonus room. It’s time to paint them (is this a good idea?) and hang them up with Little Sister’s pictures too. Possibly this will get done before she turns one?

bless all who gather here

Here are some of the other UL things I have.

jPj
This is above our bed. See, my name starts with a “J”, J’s name starts with a “J” (whodathunk?) and our last name starts with a “P”. It’s cute. And it’s also a close up because my bed was unmade (I seriously never make my bed unless company is coming over). And I’m pretty sure there were some dirty undies laying about. I’m telling you, neat freak I am not.

dream
This is above Big Sister’s bed. Her room is some bright pink. I like bright colors in bedrooms. When I was little, I shared a room with my beige (boring) sister, so I always wanted BRIGHT walls and my beige sister didn’t. The craziest we got was a color called cameleon and it was a yellowish green. Gah.

welcome
And our front door. That I love. It has “welcome” on it. In the picture you can see Big Sister being cute and myself in the mirror. Nice huh? I love this stuff. And bless my heart when we have to sell and I have to take all this stuff down. It will kill me. But then I get to buy more and do it all over again in a new home.

Speaking of new homes. I’m addicted to ValleyMLS.COM. I know we aren’t moving anywhere anytime soon. But once I get it in my head that somethings going to happen, I have to start planning and knowing everything about it. So maybe I do have a drop of Type-A in me. There are some great houses in Huntsville. Granted the really awesome ones are at the 1/2 million mark and that’s doubled our price range. But it’s fun to look. There is also a home in town that is off the square for sale. It’s across the street from my old Middle School and I just love it. I want it. But we have a bad case of the poors and cannot afford a $1.2 million dollar house.

DSC_28032.23.2008 Went to a fun b-day party this weekend. It was a blast. A ton of 7 year old girls celebrating a Hannah Montana birthday? Please invite me! It was great. Big Sister thinks she’s such a big girl hanging out with her friends. She always talks about them for day after. It’s so wonderful to have friends who love my kids the way they do. It’s a blessing to have anyone love my children when they aren’t biologically predisposed to do so!
