God is good, but we know that!

We have a sweet, sweet friend who has been trying to have a baby for some time now. She’s suffered two miscarriages and what was thought to be a third. But, praise my sweet Jesus! that baby kept growing despite a drop in HGC levels. God is good! He is sweet and gentle and knows our deepest desires and wants to fulfill them in His precious time. She is 10.5 weeks pregnant and is due right around my birthday. So, of course, she’ll have to name the baby after me. No, I wouldn’t put that upon anyone. My name is so plain Jane, though I think it does suit me well.

What are some amazing things that God has done in your life?

For me, he’s blessed me with this family. A family that I do not deserve. My past can be a haunting hole of sins. But my sweet Jesus has forgiven me and has given me the gift of a new life through Him. And am I so thankful! I have two beautiful daughters who light up my world. Even when it’s 6pm, dinner hasn’t been started, everyone is crying, I’m still in my pajamas, cannot remember if I’ve brushed my teeth yet or not, Big Sister didn’t take a nap and Little Sister hasn’t stopped nursing for 6 straight hours… Life is good.

Now I just have to remember that while in the midst of it all.

So tell me, sweet people, what are some of the things that the Lord has blessed you with? What are your hearts desires? What are you still waiting for?

And some more uppercase living to get you through the day!

A close up. Isn’t this good stuff? Don’t you want to be reminded daily that Christ is in control and He’s going to give me what I need to do His will. Yup, good stuff.

And why is my not even 5 month old so stinking big? And cute? Look, guys, isn’t she cute?

    She is a doll.

I can totally relate to your post. I too have a shameful past, but thank God that He has redeemed me and blessed me with a wonderful family and life that I do not deserve. I’m amazed daily at how He takes care of me and provides for my family. This is not to say that we don’t have hard times, but God has always carried us through. Thank you Jesus!

Pretty darn cute!! I am so happy for Sam too! I can’t believe that she spent the last 5 weeks thinking that little baby in her wasn’t growing anymore!! Praise God from whom all blessings flow! I think that’s what I should get to go above Marlee’s crib or somewhere in her room!!

Everything looks great Jill…especially that baby girl!!

I love the book of James! He is so direct and to the point! And in chapter one verse two when he speaks about considering it all joy when we go through trials…that calm peace we get from Jesus. Wow!! I’ve had a really rough week but I praise God for his Holy Spirit to always comfort me with Truth. I’m going to get the above embellishment for my dining room. A constant reminder for my eyes and mind on what foundation I’m standing on.

    Whew!!! Thanks for listening….

ps-Angela…go to uppercaseliving.com and enter in Jill’s demonstrator’s number and token (you will have to get that from Jill). I would give you my demo #, but I don’t feel that would be right since you are finding UL through Jill’s blog, but if you have questions let me know!
