We’re here!
Praise God! We made it to Fort Walton Beach in only 12 hours! The girls were completely wonderful the entire time (except for the last hour, Little Sister had had enough!). Much better than I ever expected. Though, now, Little Sister tries to buck out as soon as she gets put in the carseat.
Big Sister is having a great time. We tried to walk down to the beach this afternoon, but the wind is blowing so incredibly hard, the sand was just too painful to make it down to the water.
J is working hard and we miss his during the days. I feel completely guilty playing with the girls and having all sorts of fun while J is doing who knows what at the base. Well, not completely guilty.
Tomorrow, the plan is to go to the Gulfarium. Just the two girls and I. I’m nervous, because I really love having J’s help. And I know J wishes he could come with us instead of having to be up and gone by am.
And let me just tell you how thankful I am for some wireless internet action. I’m pretty sure I would go bananas without the internet for 10 days!

Sounds like you guys are having a blast!! Sky heard you were all at the beach and he asks everyday what Big Sister is doing and what she is building in sand! Have fun and can’t wait for pics to come. Love ya

yayyy!! Glad you made it safely and sanely. I’ve checked your blog about 10 times with no update! Thanks for the product info! We’re definitely going with Britax and we’ve only heard great things about the Bumbo and I won’t be sad if Marlee is a little delayed in sitting up on her own…more for her new mommy to help with my dear!! he he! I’ll do more research though!
