Fitness Friday - #2 & other things
I’ve been half heartedly doing weight watchers. What I mean is that I’m not keeping total track of numbers, but I have written every single little morsel I’ve consumed down. Which is pretty amazing for me. Good job.
I did have McDonalds on the way to church Wednesday night. I’m really going to have to just eat before we go. I think since J is getting off sooner on Wednesday nights we’ll just have quick sandwiches especially since it’s almost time for super tasty tomatoes in the garden.
I lost 2 pounds this week. Which isn’t bad considering I didn’t do too much moving around to help it. I’ve had probably enough water to help with the drought we had last summer. I’m feeling pretty good.
So, go me.

OTHER THINGS:
I went to lunch with my mom yesterday. My niece and brother-in-law were there too, so I loaded the girls up and went to Five Guys for burgers, I didn’t eat (I had just eaten a Lean Cuisine when mom called to invite us), so sad. Anyways, after eating, the girls and I went to 2Cute, a little boutique store that sells gifts & other cute things. Big Sister barely bumped into a little shelf display and knocked over the little pineapple you see to your left. Thankfully, it was only eight dollars. The girl in the shoppe didn’t want me to have to pay for it, but if ones kid breaks something one has to pay for it, right? This is the second little thing Big Sister has broken. Just last week she knocked over a little bunny in Kroger and we had to buy it. It’s on our kitchen counter with only one ear. Doh.
This has been my main source of nutrition as of late. But I think I’m starting to realize that salads and I just do not mix well. In December I had my gallbladder removed and I think it’s making it very hard for my body to break down the lettuce. My stomach just burns after I eat salads. I’m not sure if this is normal or not, but I do know that just a little burning is way better than having more gallbladder attacks. That is the absolute worst pain in the world. I would rather birth a thousand babies without any drugs than have another attack… well, maybe two babies.
Also, there will be another bloggy giveaway very soon. I won a [much needed] Starbucks gift card from Daphne, and as soon as I think of some cool prizes I am going to post them. The winners must have a giveaway themselves, because this is a Pay It Forward Give Away. I will more than likely post this on Monday. So be sure to check back for your chance to win some awesome prizes.
Life is good. We have birthday parties, a date night and we’re even going to see PawPaw’s baby chickens on my inlaws’ farm tonight. I’m so excited!

Great job on your weight loss! I like to take the kids to Wendy’s if I have to go out because they have some healthier choices. Hope you have a great week! I have my Fitness on Friday up to if you want to visit.

You’re doing great on your weight loss! I’ve got my exercise down, but I have to work on my eating, which is never fun. Is 2Cute over by Ross and Marshalls? I know there’s a shop over that way that I wanted to go in but I can’t remember what it’s called. Anyway, are y’all going tomorrow night?

Good on you for losing 2 pounds! And I hear ‘ya about the salads, only it’s my nursing baby (not so much ME) who cannot handle the spinach, etc, I use in my salads. Just one of the many reasons to blame Baby for weight gain!
About the bunny and pineapple - it just made me laugh because my mom always used to hiss “Hands in back pockets!!” whenever we went into a store. That technique probably saved her a load of money.

Sorry I’m late on checking this out. I was out of town.
