I’ve been tagged!
Daphne at The Bayou Belles and Their Beau tagged me for this. Which is great, since I’m a little foggy feeling this morning.
The tag is “7 Things.” It is fun to hear tidbits, facts, unique things about your blogging friends. I have to tag 7 people, so if you don’t like to be tagged, just ignore me. You won’t hurt my feelings … just be a party-pooper. So here it goes.
The Rules:
1. Link your tagger and list these rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
4. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
1. I’ve never been able to do a cartwheel. And this devastates me because I will not be able to teach my daughters how to do them. I was always too scared. And once, when I tried outside, I wound up doing a semi-hand stand, fell on the back of my neck and I honestly thought I was paralyzed. Of course, I wasn’t, I just had the wind completely knocked out of me.
2. I also never would play on the monkey bars in recess. They scared me. I’m still scared of them. Our swing set will not havemonkey bars.
3. I have broken my ankle, my toe and my wrist. I’ve had gallbladder surgery, an appendicitis, and a broken off phone antanae poked in my eye. ALL on the right side. Isn’t that weird?
4. I’m super clumsy (if you can’t tell from number 3). I broke my ankle and wrist by missing steps (concrete steps), but not at the same time. I broke my toe by flipping too late at swim practice. I fell down the HUGE steps at the BDA on campus (think 50 slick steps while wearing flips flops).
5. I can still do the splits. But it hurts more now.
6. I can play the flute and I love playing it. I used to dream of being in the Nashville Symphony.
7. I want to go back to school.
Here’s who I’m tagging:
1-Robyn - I’ve known Robyn for years. We met online through livejournal, but she came to visit me in the hospital when Big Sister was born. We’ve been good friends since.
2-Megan - Megan & I went to elementary & high school together. We’ve known each other a long time.
3 - Hannah- I met Hannah when she came to visit our church. She & her husband live behind April and they have become really good friends. Hannah comes to our Monday night Bible Study and it has been a joy getting to know her better. She also works at my ob/gyn’s office.
4- Katy - Katy & I met through church. She’s in my sunday school class. She has a cutie named Bailey who is 13 months older than Big Sister. And 12 months older than Little Sister. They are a super sweet family.
5- Lena - I just recently started reading Lena’s blog. She is a friend of April’s and that’s how I found her.
6 - O momma - We’ve known each other for about a year through livejournal. She’s a firstmom to a little girl she placed for adoption and is now married with another little girl. She’s a wonderful young woman with lots to learn from.
7 - Keeley - She went to high school with my husband and she’s also a good friend of mine’s sister in law. She just started a blog a few weeks ago, so go check it out. She also has a couch for sale!

I used to play the flute in junior high and also want to go back to school to get my Master’s. More stuff we have in common! Thanks for participating!
