Love Thursday - fellowships
It’s more pictures. Seriously, I know you all have your own children and you probably think that your child(ren) is(are) the cutest thing(s) in the world - and they are! And I love looking at them. So.. I want to share with you what we did today.
And let’s just say that I am now firm in my belief that two beautiful girls is all I can handle. I cannot imagine trying to add another child into the mix of getting pictures taken. Seriously. If you want to see all 121 pictures taken today - you can go to the flickr set.

Just look at those bright baby blues!

They both have them. It’s amazing!

I just love that Big Sister always wants to love on her baby.

She was telling us just how silly her daddy was. If you guys ever see my husband in action, you’ll know what I mean!:)

This is when the session was just about over… You can tell Big Sister had had just about enough.

Little Sister in her Easter outfit

The girls together in their Easter gear.

Don’t you just want to eat her? I seriously have to stop myself!

Oh, I know… I know…

Yup. This is like… I don’t know… it makes my heart so full and squishy. And I try so hard not to be that mom who thinks her kids are so perfect they could do no wrong - but in this picture you’d never think these two would fight over a boy or skip curfew or be caught kissing a boy on the couch.

I’m that mom. Sorry.
Yesterday at church, April & Brandon shared what scriptures have been placed on their hearts lately. They were awesome. Absolutely awesome. I have a full page of notes on April’s. And I love that she is so open and honest with what God is doing in her life. She has such an amazing heart for the Lord. I was not there at her age (and still am not somedays) where she is in her walk with God. She is an inspiration! (By the way, I’m not that much older than she is!)
Then her sweet husband, Brandon (is it okay that I call him sweet?), talked about Jonathon (in 1Samuel) and showed us this video. If you’ve never seen 99 Balloons, make sure you grab some Kleenex. It’s a pull at your heart strings type of video. Their story is just… it’s amazing what God can do. Instead of being angry they rejoiced in the name of the Lord! I have constantly been reminded how blessed I am with two healthy children. Them being as cute as they are is just icing on the cake.
God has been nothing but wonderful to me. Even through all of this turmoil I feel myself going through, He is there and He is working. And I am truly thankful for friends who can show that to me without even trying. God has been using my friends as witnesses to me without them knowing for a while, I believe.
And the only way someone can have that kind of faith is to have a strong foundation made of God and His Word. “All who listen to my teachings and follow them are wise,” said Jesus in Matthew 7:24.
I’m amazed that yesterday I had such a rough time getting through today. But the Holy Spirit has been working overtime in me today. And I just wanted to call out Tiffany & April and tell them thank you for the prayers. Maybe I’m not going crazy after all!:)

Sweet pictures Jill. I’m still praying. Angela Thomas said this weekend that God is standing right there..saying to us “Baby Girl, come on, I’m gonna get you out of here.” and He can. My prayer is that He will.

Yes, I have my own kids and yes, they are darned cute. BUT…I love looking at your girls, too! I keep a constant chuckle in my heart that we should introduce your baby girl to my baby boy…two babies with such smooshy goodness would surely be a great match! (ok…now you’re probably thinking i’m kinda creepy. i’m not! i promise!)

Oh my goodness! I do want to eat Lil’ Sister’s toes - too cute. Don’t worry, I don’t get tired of looking at your babies, probably because mine aren’t considered “babies” anymore (just to me).
I have seen the “99 balloons” and it was very moving and made me stop and realize how much I have to be thankful for.

Your children are lovely! I have green eyes and I ended up with two brown-eyed beauties! LOL! I never imagined God would give my babies brown eyes, but I absolutely adore chocolate and He knows that! I’m going to add you to my blogroll! It’s always nice to find other Christian moms!
