Y’all we have had a busy, busy week. It has been absolutely wonderful. And let me tell you, this week has been an awesome “I love being a stay at home mom, I could never have a “real job” because I would miss days like this” kind of week. And let me tell you, I have days like that. But not weeks like that. It’s great. And it just confirms my love for summer and getting out and doing things. Lots of things.

Thursday J took off from work (which is such a special treat because he thinks he has to have 8 years of vacation built up just in case…) so he could go to the zoo with us. With us? Well, Tiffany, her mom Cindy, her kids Jada & Skyler. Julie, her husband Chris, their kids Emma and Owen, her niece and nephew, Anna Grace and Alex. Me, J, Big and Little, and my niece Brooke. That’s 15 people, folks. We had our own little field trip. And let’s just remember that going to the zoo with 15 people will add an additional 2-3 hours to your trip. Mainly because one family… I won’t mention names… was about 30 minutes late. And don’t worry, that family won’t get upset that I’m calling them out… because, well, it was us.

Then, as if all that wasn’t enough to lay us all out into a coma, my little family went swimming. Little Sister’s first trip to the pool. And let me tell ya, she loved it! Just as much as Big Sister, whom by the way, is part fish - like her momma!
