BooMama’s Before & After

BooMamaBeforeAfterBooMama is having a Before & After of some HGTV lovin’. Here’s the deal. You go to her site, read her lovely post, then sign the Mr. Linky with the post that you’ve written about what you have in store for your Before & After transformation. The After will be on July 25th. That gives gals like me, whom have big plans but little motivation, plenty of time to, you know, make the bed.

So what are my goals? Oh, I have many!

1. New bedding for master bedroom.
2. Paint the master bedroom.
3. Paint the master bath.
4. Buy new floor mats & towels for master bath.
5. New curtains for bedroom and living room.
6. Paint living room.

These are just a few that are very low in cost (or lower than buying new furniture for every room) because we’re doing the debt snowball. So, ya know, the whole spending money thing isn’t really happening here in our home (but we have paid off everything except my car!).

I’ll have pictures up later. (But I need to clean my bedroom before I post any pictures. Seriously.)

Yeah, I posted quickly because I already had taken a bunch of pictures, but I could NOT have done it impromptu without cleaning up.

    Great goals.

So ummm yeah, I think I’ll join in the fun…just not yet…Im like you I’d have to clean stuff to take before pictures and that’s not happening until July…after these classes are over but if the big secret happens…who knows when I’ll clean I may have to hire someone while im away!

Sounds great! I’m trying to think of some goals I can post because the budget is too tight to the things I really WANT to do!

  4. Joy

    Sounds like fun!

I love it when people spend a little time and resources on the master bdrm. So often we just leave it making the other rooms more important. Someone once told me that the master is the first area she tackles. It’s the one place where you and hubby can retreat to and connect. Very important. Good luck, see you on the 25th.

Sounds like some good goal. Looking forward to seeing the pictures!

    Good luck with your goals!
I know about the taking pics beforehand. I braved it and took some pictures… scary. It looks horrible in pictures… ha ha. So hoping this will give me a good kick in the pants … I need it :)

Those are good goals! Can’t wait to see your pics!
