Quick Update
First of all, I want to thank all of you who lifted my Daddy up in prayers over the past few days. It honestly means so much to have people whom I’ve never met, love me enough to pray for him. So thank you.
They weaned him off of the ventilator today. He is breathing on his own! God is good! He’s still struggling and his lungs are weak, but he is able to take breaths all by himself. And that’s just amazing. It reminds me to be thankful for each breath I so easily take.
He is still in the ICU, still has MRSA. Still has pneumonia. His stats are good. He’s still “stable but serious”. But he’s breathing, y’all.
I saw him lastnight, but did not go today. I, obviously, cannot take my children and the ICU visit times don’t work with J getting home. I have to go to the 9pm one, which scares me because walking in the dark freaks me out.
Again, thank you for the prayers, keep them coming, God is good! Even when I question Him, my God is Big enough to answer and hold me closely and let me cry to Him.
Also, I wanted to give you a quick update on Big Sister and her Boppy. This is what I found today, after getting Little Sister down for her nap.
She “borrows” them from her sister. She says, “Sister shares with me. It’s okay, Mommy.” But, y’know, I had both of my children asleep at the same time today. So, God was loving on me extra big today.

I am so glad your dad is breathing on his own…such an answer to prayer! God is so good. You have such a great daddy and I loved reading all your stories (I am catching up from the last month) You were blessed with a wonderful dad and he was also blessed with an incredible daughter that loves the Lord with all her heart and gathers prayer for her daddy. You are an amazing daughter!! I love you and you and your family are in my prayers. Hugs Hugs Hugs!!!

Glad ur Dad is doing better. I’ll keep on praying him outta that ICU! Tell Little Sister that Mrs. April said,,,”Way to help a sister out girlfriend!” I know Big Sister is glad to grab a hit off of LS’s boppy every now and again. I still have my blankie(right beside my face matter o’ fact) and Im well beyond me years…I turned out pretty good!

I’m so glad he’s breathing on his own! That really is an answer to prayers. And I LOVE the picture of Big Sis w/ Ls’s boppy. Gives me something to look forward to b/c I’m sure Bailey will “borrow” Austin’s.

hey i can not belive that she found it. one more thaing .grandaddy told me when he was at home he tould me that when he was little when he was sick he ask hes daddy that he what a model air plane.so me and madeson went to the green why . and i saw the bucket that hes dad made .the burt pices . and it was made out of a hand.we what to the gift shop i got him a model air plane. i love you
