My to-do list

Because I know y’all are dying to know!

Tuesday

  • Take a shower (yes, this must be listed)
  •  Drop photos of birthday cake off at bakers
  •  Meet Mrs Theresa at church at 9:30
  •  Get everything ready for training on Wednesday
  •  Get Little Sister down for a nap once we’re home. She’ll be super overtired, but hopefully she’ll comply
  •  Do laundry, vacuum and clean the kitchen because oh my goodness!
  •  Somehow make it to the grocery to buy groceries so we can have dinner
  •  Make said dinner
  •  Have all the “lollies” cut out and painted
  •  Go by Hobby Lobby and pick out super cute pretty paper for “lollies”
  •  Go by and pick up the shot records for Big Sister to start Pre school

Wednesday

  • Have Mrs April come over (and I’ll probably have to have ice cream for Big Sister) and help with the lollies.
  • Go to my follow up from my root canal at 11:30, while the lovely Mrs. April babysits for me.
  • Be at church at 5 for a meeting for the Children’s Ministry
  • Key group at 6
  • Training for Back Yard Bible Club at 7pm

Thursday

  • Big Sister’s meet the teacher day from 10-11
  • Go by Dr’s office and get shot record!!!!
  •  Lots of sobbing and crying and anxiety attacks
  •  Get ready for an Open House with Uppercase Living
  •  Open House at 6:30- whenever

Friday

  • Clean the house the a mad, crazy woman
  • Buy all the goodies for Big Sister’s party (hot dogs, buns, chips, things to make dips, drinks, etc)
  • Get ready for an Open House with Uppercase Living
  • Open House at 6:30- whenever

SATURDAY

  • Pick up balloons from Party City
  • Pick up cake from bakery
  • Set up tables and chairs outside
  • Decorate swing set as the candy land castle
  • Make the candy land trail with chalk to the front door
  • Cry and cry because my baby will be three years old
  • Have loads of fun from 4-everyone collapses.

And while this may not seem like much. I have to do all of this with a still-two-year-old helper and a 10 month old in tote. They sometimes make life challenging. In the most blessed kind of way.

Wow! You do have a lot to do. Birthday parties always make a week much busier.
