Y’all, she’s walking!
Little Sister took her first steps today. And they aren’t just steps, they are more like mini sprints. Yes, I realize sprints are small anyways, but they are smaller than small.
After taking Big Sister to pre-school, we came home, napped then PLAYED! Oh man, it was so nice to just sit and play peek a boo and patty cake and crawl around with just her. I am so blessed to be able to have two days of alone time with Little Sister. And so blessed to have 5 days of alone time with Big Sister (thank you naps!).
Anyways, I would have taken pictures but I was too busy hollaring and clapping and doing it over and over again.
Oh my. In just one week. One small, 7 day week, I will have a toddler. I real-live toddler, replacing my baby. My itty bitty baby.
Remember when I said I didn’t want anymore babies? Heaven help us…

Way to go, little girl! Jill, my “baby” was reading this morning. Reading. Sounding out words. I’m so glad her brother is coming in nine weeks… I don’t have a baby anymore!

How wonderful, but kinda sad, huh? Those baby times are gone, but now she’s on to a whole new fun phase!

I can’t believe she’s walking!!! Do you seriously not want anymore babies??? You seem like such a wonderful mommy that you should have a houseful…although, that may take away from the wonderfulness of it all =)

My youngest just recently started walking too. It was an exciting but nostalgic time for sure. I totally agree with you on the baby thing. I don’t know if I’ll ever be fully ready to not have a baby in the house!
