Because…. it’s my birthday!
So far, today has been full of awesome. I would type aweseomfull, because that’s been the type of day it’s been.
I had a wonderful call by my bestfriend Tiffany this morning, singing me Happy birthday with her sweet son Skyler. Lovely.
Then my sweet friend April sent me a text inviting me to lunch. Our friends Steph, Sadie, Malinda, Lee and Mari were all there too. My kids didn’t scream or throw a fit. I think sitting outside made it so much easier. I will remember to always eat on the patio of anywhere we go. April gave me the SWEETEST gift of FIVE HOURS of FREE babysitting. That’s awesome.
AND, you know what makes today the most awesome so far? It’s 2pm and both of my girls are in their beds sleeping. Taking a nap and letting their, now old, momma rest as well. And plan Little Sister’s first birthday party (she’ll be one on Thursday!).
It’s been great, y’all. And since we’re having roast, potatoes and carrots for dinner - it’s already in the crock pot, so I don’t have to worry about that at all!
Yay!

I’m trying to pick out pictures for Little Sister’s birthday invitations, but the only time Little Sis smiles is when she’s crawling on her hands & feet or when she’s trying to walk.
Maybe I can get more after she wakes up from her napparoo.

Sounds like a great birthday so far! The girls gave you an awesome present…they are taking a nap at the same time. I am so glad that you got to go out with the girls for a birthday lunch!!! Have a great birthday night too!!
