It was a great weekend.
It was one of those much needed get-stuff-done weekends. I finally finished putting away Little Sister’s 6-12 month clothes, finally put away Big Sister’s 24 & 2T clothes and FINALLY cleaned our bedroom from all things little kids. It’s like… a grown up place now.
My big goal was to paint our bedroom… it still didn’t happen. But that’s because I’ve decided I don’t like the color anymore. So, off to Lowe’s we go this week, so over the weekend, we will be finished with our bedroom. I still need to buy curtains too. We’ve only lived here for four years now… it’s about time to do something with the windows!
J & Big Sister went for a little hike at the park next door. They got off to a late start and didn’t get home til way after dark. Big Sister fell asleep on J’s shoulders on the hike home. So cute.
We went to church, saw our friends and just had a really wonderful family weekend. It was so needed.
This morning J took this picture. I found it this morning on the camera. Little Sister made her way into our bed and she pretty much just takes over when she’s in there.

Our Monday Night Bible study is starting a new book next Monday. This will be my first attempt at leading our group. I’m nervous, because while I’m incredibly excited to get together with my friends and fellowship, I’ve never lead a group and I just don’t know how it will go. The devil seems to be putting little seeds of doubt in my head, telling me lies. But… my excitement weighs out my nervousness and I’m praying that God’s story will be heard through my rambling. We’re doing Can Martha Have a Mary Christmas? By Brenda Poinsett. I think it will be an easy going study that will teach us how to be more like Mary during this busy season. I think we as moms and women need to learn how to not take on too much and how to just sit down and be still.

Sounds like a great weekend. I spent Sunday afternoon sleeping on the couch. It was nice. Hope your week is going great so far!

What a sweet sweet picture! I really need to do the same with Ava’s clothes. I actually did start on it, but never finished (what a shock). I hope your first night as leader went well. I miss that group when Tiffany led. The book sounds like it will make a great study. I love Martha/Mary lessons.
