I love the color pink…
except when it’s the color of my eye.
I have pink eye. I suspected it lastnight, so I took out my contacts to see if maybe they were causing an irritation. My eye kept getting junky, though. So, this morning I wake up, and you know what? My left eye is jammed shut. Yuck-o.
I was going to take a picture and have it for Wordless Wednesday, but I’ve decided that it’s just too gross.
Isn’t this something little kids get? I haven’t had pink eye since elementary school!
And, Little Sister is sick. We had to have blood drawn (not a finger prick, y’all - like a tube of blood from a vein) yesterday. She lost half a pound from last month. We have another weight check in three weeks. Her doctor thinks she may be anemic but there could be more severity to this problem. So, if you’re the praying type, I ask for her sweet little self to get all better.

Oh no pink eye! Yeah, I’ve never heard of too many adults getting that. Hope it heals quickly.
I will certainly pray for little sister. Kids just love to scare you to death. We were just at the eye doctor today, and it was nothing, but I just knew there was a possibility of something neurological! I guess that’s part of being a mother. I hope the blood work turns up nothing too.
