Prayers for this sweet family.
I have friends of friends who are in desperate need of prayer tonight.
Adrienne and Jim are in the midst of an adoption. The short of the long is this. A young woman was pregnant with a little baby. She did not want to keep the baby and wanted to place the baby for adoption. A friend of the birthfamily reads Jim and Adrienne’s blog and mentioned to the birthmother’s mother what a wonderful family they are. After many emails and phone calls and adoption agency stuff (I have no idea what is all involved in this), this sweet family went to the birthmother’s town to bring home this sweet baby girl. Originally it was to be a closed adoption and the birthmother wanted nothing more to do with the baby. After the baby was born, the mother had a change of heart and wanted to see the baby and to meet Adrienne face to face. They spent many hours together on Sunday getting to know one another and bonding together with the sweet baby girl.
The birth mother is now having second thoughts and is reconsidering the whole adoption. Right now, the baby is placed with the agency and the birth mother has been released to go home.
I’m asking that you all pray for this birth mother. That she will make the right choice, whatever that choice may be. That she will be in prayer over this and that she will be at peace with whatever choice she makes.
The same goes with Adrienne and Jim. You can read their entire story here. They have had 5 miscarriages and have an adorable adopted son, Owen. She desires so much for this sweet daughter. A new born to hold and to love.
Pray that joy will come from this sorrow. Both for Adrienne and Jim and the birthmother.

Jill; I will be praying. Has she signed the TPR yet? (If not, she isn’t actually a birth mother.) If so, what state is she in? Some states have immediately irrevocable TPR and some require waiting periods. If we’re talking TN here, she has 10 days in which to revoke her consent after signing the TPR. It is 100% her right to be able to do so. It doesn’t make it easier for either party, I’m just passing on law so that other commenters don’t get up in arms.
Prayers for this mother and this family. What a hard time for all.

I will definitely pray for this sweet family. Let that family get a sweet and beloved daughter as they desire. Let the adoption of this same child happen and let peace and tranquility come to this family. Let the birthmother be clear in whatever decision she makes. I shall definitely pray for the couple to get a response very soon
