It’s so exhausting being a mom…

But something I used to dream of when I was young.

I have two sick daughters who have had fevers and light vomiting. I now have a husband who has a fever and is on the verge of being sick as well.

We all know the husband is WAY more of a baby than the three or one year old. So, it will be another long, exhausting night.

In other news. The friends I asked you to pray for? The mother has decided to keep the baby. She took the baby home from the agency lastnight or this morning. I am completely heart broken for Adrienne and Jim and little Owen. Part of me is angry at the mother for leading this sweet couple on for six months, promising them a baby, only to change her mind at the last minute. And part of me is glad that she changed her mind when she did and not six weeks or six months or even six years after placing the baby in Jim and Adrienne’s arms. I am thankful this baby is loved. I am thankful this baby was born. And I pray that God will bless Jim and Adrienne with another beautiful baby.

I know the road to motherhood can be a painful one. But once you have a sweet child to hold at the end… the journey is always worth it.

Thanks for all who prayed. I ask that you continue to lift them up as you hug your children a little tighter today.
