Info

I'm a stay at home mom of two precious children. My husband is a true gift from God who amazes me with his ability to love me unconditionally. That's no easy task! Our girls are 4 & 2 and the light of our lives. We love God and put Him first. We are trying to figure out this parenting thing, apparently we've lost the manual. Through His Grace and Love - we'll make it through!

We’re thinking about it…

I’ve been busy. Too busy for the blog. One day I’ll be really consistent with updating and keeping track of things.

And I’ll have pictures from James’ big birthday weekend tomorrow.

But right now – I want to talk about how insane it is to try to get ones house ready to put up for sale with two small kids.

The minute I have one room cleaned out and move to the next – the girls go to the cleaned room and destroy. And it’s not just pulling out a few things – it’s pulling out everything, putting more stuff on top and then kicking it all around. It’s crazy what these small precious little girls are capable of.

Today I cleaned from behind the ovenĀ  (holy nastiness!). I hung the curtain rod in our bedroom all by myself(!!). And I attempted to (finally) finish painting the girls bathroom. But realized, yet again, that I’m a really awful painter.

I have a list of all the things we need to do before listing the house and it’s pretty overwhelming.

PAINT:

  • -finish girls bathroom
  • master bedroom
  • master bath
  • living room
  • bonus room
  • office
  • upstairs bathroom (?)

And then there’s all the getting rid of stuff. Like boxes of cards and just tons of random junk that I have no idea why we have. Some of it’s my husbands (like, alot of it since he’s a major pack rat). Hopefully this will help him get rid of tons of college books, notes, magazines, clothes from high school, etc.

And – if we decide to not sale our house – then everything will be painted and clean and pretty and I’ll just enjoy our cute little house a few more years!

Oh girl do I feel your pain…we are getting our house ready to sell too. My dad came over with a legal pad and made a list of stuff for us to do. I am in the process of writing a blog about how hard it is. Where do you guys want to move?
