Info

I'm a stay at home mom of two precious children. My husband is a true gift from God who amazes me with his ability to love me unconditionally. That's no easy task! Our girls are 4 & 2 and the light of our lives. We love God and put Him first. We are trying to figure out this parenting thing, apparently we've lost the manual. Through His Grace and Love - we'll make it through!

She’s so funny!

close up adelineBig Sister has been cracking me up lately. She says some of the silliest things.

The other day while we were laying on the couch she said, “Mommy- you need to get your hair cut. On your legs.” Apparently I was itching her.

Today while I was looking at these trying to decide which ones to get to hang in the girls’ bathroom to finally be finished with it – she comes upstairs and says, “I want a potty.” To which I tell her she already has a potty in her bathroom. She says, “No – I want a picture of a potty in my bathroom.” Well of course.

She’s been watching the Cedarmont Kids non stop. She loves to sing songs and she LOVES knowing songs to praise God.

On Sunday – James & I had some major miss communication about when his parents church started. He & I had a little tiff and Big Sister told me, “Mommy – Daddy is sorry, I know he is. You should forgive him because God likes that.” From a 3 year old – y’all. She’s got a good heart.

On Tuesday morning on our way to Bible Study – Big Sister explained this to Little Sister. “Awwdrey, if you have Jesus in your heart, well, not in your heart, but next by your heart – then you’ll be brave in your heart and you can sleep without your light on.”

I love it.

She told me she wishes she knew how to read so she can read her Bible and know more about God. Y’all, I have the next Beth Moore on my hands.

I’m not saying this sweet child is perfect. If you’ve spent more than 30 minutes with her you’ll know that she is not. But she has a good heart and a love for God that is so pure.  She believes that He will do anything she asks and she talks to Him like her bestfriend.

Oh, to have faith like a child!

Oh Jill, how precious she is! Don’t you just love to hear what they are thinking and to know that your little girl loves Jesus so much. I am so proud of her and love her with all my heart!
