Butterflyfish CD & GIVEAWAY
A little while back I was contacted to see if I’d be interested in reviewing a CD. Of course, I said yes! I am a huge lover of music and love, love, love to introduce new music to my children. I especially love to introduce them to Christain music that will fill their hearts with God’s love (and possibly teach them some scripture too!).
When I went to hear a preview of Butterflyfish, I instantly loved it! This band is full of awesome harmonizing skills and is kind of like Emmy Lou Harris meets O’Brother Where Art Thou meets Dave Macon.
I just love it, y’all. And my girls – man, they are loving it too! Our favorite is track#2- What Jonah Learned Inside the Whale. It’s such a fast, upbeat song. And Lemonade is my absolute favorite. Number 8, Deep Down in My Heart, is what Little Sister – the two year old has been signing. It’s such a fun way to sing praises to our sweet Jesus!
I really have not done this cd justice, I’m by no means a music reviewer (shocked, huh?), but I encourage you all to go to Butterflyfish’s website and listen to a few samples.
So, do you want your own copy?? Go to Butterflyfish and comment, letting me know what your favorite song is. Butterflyfish will personally send you your own copy to sing and dance along to!

My son Joel and I really liked Noah’s Lullaby. We both love animals, so it was fun to imagine what Noah would sing to all the animals on the ark. (We made up some of our own verses! heehee!)

Lovely. Just plain lovely.
I liked “Lemonade” but it’s all right up my alley.
