About this site
Once upon a time (11 years, which really seems like 20) my very first boyfriend was really into this whole webpage thing. He had his own domain at the tender age of 16 and that’s when I first started “blogging”. But that was before it was referred to as blogging. I called it online journaling. It was fun. I got into some html stuff learned the smallest amount of Java. C’mon, I was 15, had an early curfew and a nerdy boyfriend. What else was a girl to do?
After we broke up, he kicked me off his domain (seriously, people, two years worth of good, juicy stuff) and I went to diaryland.com to start journaling. This took me through the rest of highschool and a good portion of my early adult life. I then moved to livejournal.com and still have a journal there. That’s where all the good, juicy stuff is. The not so pretty, completely raw side of me goes there to complain and cry and moan and do all the ugly-me stuff.
One day I thought, “Man, I’d like to have my own domain”. I have no clue what I’m doing. My incredibly smart husband has been left out in the dark on most of this, because, well, I know he would take it and run wild. This would no longer be a suburban-mommy blog, it would be a nerdy double E blog talking about missiles and how to make kites out of trashbags (don’t ask).
So, if this stinks, bare with me. I’m learning in between naps and nursing. I don’t have those six hours straight on a rainy Sunday to learn this stuff. I have ten, fifteen minutes at a time to beg sweet FireMom to help me out.
The technical stuff:
This is hosted by Surpass Hosting . The layout is designed by Refuled.com and modified by FireMom with direction from me. And, none of this would be possible (well, it would.. just be possible somewhere else) if it weren’t for WordPress.org
